INFORMATION REGARDING WORKER'S COMPENSATION

Pennsylvania Worker's Compensation law may affect who you can see for chiropractic services following a work-related injury.  All Pennsylvania employers have the right to post a list of approved providers for worker's compensation health services.  The employee must be notified about the provider list in writing at the time of their hiring, at the time of an injury (if possible), and when any changes to the provider list are made.  If a chiropractor is included on the list, then the employee must be seen by that chiropractor if he or she wishes to have chiropractic treatment covered under worker's compensation.  If no chiropractor is listed, you can see any chiropractor you wish without restriction under Pennsylvania Worker's Compensation.  Please check your employer's provider list to determine if a chiropractic facility is included.
